These are great to take abroad to hotter climates where mosquito are a real nuisance, but also perfect for this time of year in the UK for walks in the countryside, picnics and sunbathing when the sun and heat brings an onslaught of midges and other flying irritants who are all determined to sink there teeth into you and generally just annoy you when you're out and about trying to enjoy the sunshine.
The bracelets have been infused with citronella, a combination of natural plant oils (taken from one or more varieties of lemongrass), which insects find highly repellent and will avoid like the plague but the oils weren't do any harm to the insects or the environment. This means no harsh chemicals so you can feel comfortable wearing these and giving them out to the kids etc. The smell isn't overbearing and is fairly pleasant - not dissimilar from lemon-based cleaning products or soaps. I’ve previously used Mosquito Repellent Bracelets but they were a very different design but essentially the same results. I chose these TravPack® Mosquito Repellent Wristbands as they seemed a lot more flexible.
My product arrived in a small compact re-sealable bag which is a very handy size for travelling and it keeps the bands ‘fresh’. All the information you need to know is printed on the front and reverse of the packet. You get 10 flexible bands in total, 2 of each vibrant colour, purple, yellow, pink, cerise and blue. They are lovely and bright colours which I’m sure children won’t mind wearing at all. They are made out of silicone which has been impregnated with the Citronella and made into a spiral ring bracelet. Because they are so flexible and stretch they are small enough for a child but yet still comfortable for an adult to wear on the wrist or ankle.

wasn't so impressed by these unfortunately I bought these to go camping with my family with, when reading the reviews I was hopeful they would be the answer to being eaten alive, but unfortunately this was still the case we did camp near a lake but they didn't seem to help at all I had the little critters all over me all night so much so I had to retire to bed early, wouldn't say they are the best on the market.
I did receive this product for a discounted amount, and I am obliged to leave an honest review, so this is my honest opinion! (Although I did get this product at a discounted amount, I will be buying again!)
