Great Thermometer., 7 Aug. 2014

I love this. I first saw it at my cousin's and thought it was a great idea. I love the way you get a digital readout of the temperature if you want it but also just a quick indication via the colour. I bought one for the living room, then another for the bedroom and now I've got another on my desk at work. I've also bought then for friends and relatives as stocking fillers for Christmas.

The Gro-Egg is a mains powered room thermometer which changes its colour depending on whether the temperature around the *thermometer* is just right, too warm, too hot or too cold. (less than 16 degrees C or greater than 21 degrees C are deemed to be not ideal temperatures for a baby).

We've had ours for 9 months and for us, it was invaluable in the early stages, as although we knew what the ideal sleeping temperatures should be, we had no way to gauge it - Yes we could have just bought a small thermometer but at least with the Gro-Egg not only could we tell the temperature, we always had a visual cue especially during the night.

The emitted light is not particularly bright to disturb anyones sleep nor would I call it an actual night light suitable for reading for instance.

We kept the Gro-egg in the opposite corner of our little ones cot (with the long power cable tightly tied away from the baby of course, this gave us a more accurate reading of the...
