Tabu at last, 24 Oct. 2011

I've been using this perfume for 37 years now and in the past 3 years it's been a challenge to find a source to buy from. I've recently been ordering fromUS sites and paying £25 excluding shipping cost. Anyhow I was extremely delighted to find it here for less than half that price. I received it last week and to my surprise found that the bottle has had an "extreme makeover". It looks like it could have cost £50 and the perfume smells as lovely as it did 37 years ago. On realising that the stocks are disappearing fast, I've ordered another one.

Not what I thought it would be. Very heavy scent and a bit old fashioned. Use it as a room spray. Try before you buy from somewhere else before you decide to buy.

Dana TABU - Happy Memories Brought Back - Heavy Scent, 18 May 2013

A wonderful fragrance (heavy weight one even though a cologne and probably one more suited for winter than summer). Even so just brings back fond memories of years ago when my late mum used to wear it after buying it on holiday in Spain.

Such good value for money with it being a 100ml size and it looks great on any dressing table or bathroom shelf.

As said it is a heavy weight scent and if liking something floral and delicate this is not for you, if you like Coco Chanel then a good alternative to use especially compared to the price of CC. Heavy and maybe a bit too cloying for some, but for me lovely one that went sprayed onto a scarf and left in the wardrobe even after a week the smell is still there.

Can not believe it was for sale here on Amazon as not seen it around for many years, the last time was when clearing through my mum's stuff and came across a bottle of it. Even the box has not changed the same design etc, really a trip down memory...
