We tried so many ways but potty-training just wasn't happening. My daughter was perfectly capable but just wasn't interested. I was fed up because a) she's almost 3 and outgrown the largest nappies, and b) we have a 1-yr-old: 2 sets of nappies is expensive and I spent all day changing nappies.

No more! She overheard a salesperson describe it, and would not be dissuaded by me who gulped at the £25.99 price tag for a potty. Still, I bought it, thinking if she is excited about it, it might work.

Once home, she was desperate to sit on her singing potty. 1 week on, I can count her accidents on one hand, she just goes and sits down without telling me she needs to. The sound effects mean I don't have to follow her until I hear "you did it!" or "Good job!" - meaning I can keep my curious and determined 1-yr-old away from the toilet, and no more 'phantom pees'. Very impressed, my son was getting sore on a normal potty, this seat it's much more comfortable for him. He seems to like it so just to get something in there now. The music stops after a while and only starts again when he shifts his weight. Only bad point is the splash piece falls off very easily

It is fun, entertaining and does the trick pretty quick. Is my son potty trained yet? NO, but he is getting there and makes progress every day. We now have it for almost two weeks and he barely wets one nappie a day so, that folks is great progress to me!
