As the other reviews have stated, this is a very well made crib musical toy that not only has some cute little children's favourite tunes ready
installed to play but also incorporates an MP3 player.
To use it as a crib toy you will need to install 2 AA batteries. As this is a baby toy the battery compartment is protected from little fingers by a secure cross-headed screw. This needs to be unscrewed, the batteries installed - the instructions as to positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are very clear - and re-fastened.
When the batteries are installed, and the red on off button is pressed a selection of short simple music box style tunes plays. There are such favourites as Frere Jacques, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Brahms Lullaby, London Bridge is Falling Down, Old MacDonald Had A Farm, Hush -A- Bye Baby, and Elvis's Teddy Bear, amongst less familiar tunes.
Attaching the supplied micro USB - USB cable to the toy and plugging in to a PC or laptop...

This arrived today and came well packaged and the mobile itself, in a plain brown box.
Inside, was the mobile itself and a USB cable. I was surprised there was no instructions whatsoever.
The mobile is operated by 2AA batteries not supplied and inside the battery compartment, was the supplied 128MB micro sd memory card.
The unit itself is made of plastic but feels quite solid.
There are 12 standard baby tunes already preloaded.
You can add your own music by simply connecting the supplied cable to the mobile and your computer and transfer tunes directly to it. Or, you can remove the memory card and use a card reader to plug it directly into a computer and transfer your music. Personally, connecting the mobile to the computer is easier as it can be a bit fiddly removing the batteries in order to get to the memory card to remove it.

It is a simple white plastic round box but with some brilliant results. This baby musical mobile has two buttons for functions like play/pause, loop single song /loop playlist ,previous/next track, volume control, music/rotation separation (press the mode switch button for 3 seconds while music is playing, rotation ceases).
It comes with a 128mb micro SD card with 12 already loaded baby tunes but you can easily connect it to your PC (using the Micro USB slot available in the musical mobile) and download some more music. It supports MP3, WAV,WMV. Please note that the Micro USB slot cannot be used to charge the device itself. To use the device, you will need two AA batteries (not included) and whilst the device is connected to the PC to download tunes, the batteries don't get charged (even if you are using rechargeable batteries) so there is minimal damage to...
