Nearly perfect, 16 Jun. 2011

I was looking for something easy and light after having only one experience with one of those clumsy, heavy travel cots before. I mean, seriously, if something weighs 11 kilos and takes up half the space in the back of the car, can you still call it "travel"?

Anyway, this tent is light, compact, easy to put up and fold back down, and reasonably priced.

My one big gripe is that the sleeping mat is only secured by two velcro patches at the ends, leaving the sides loose. The result: baby (4 months old and able to roll over) grabbing at the sides and pulling them up. Also, since the sleeping mat is so loosely attached to the inner base of the tent, there is that swishing sound of polyester rubbing against polyester that wakes me up whenever the baby moves in his sleep. It may be that I received an older model as their website clearly states that it is a "zip in machine washable sleeping mat." I'm sure that if the sleeping mat zipped all around the inner base, this...

Much better than those heavy "travel cots", 2 July 2014
We used one of these a lot when our daughter was about 6 months and we travelled round Europe. I liked:-It's got springy build-in poles: to erect, just remove the strap and let it go!-It's pretty fast and easy to put away-Packs down into a small package-Lightweight-Can be zipped fully closed to keep bugs outTwo minor downsides:1. The zip is quite noisy- we'd sometimes wake our daughter trying to zip it up2. Our first matress developed a fault: the matress is a self inflating matress - like many adult camping matts you get- there's foam inside that expands when you open the valve. The foam came away from the enclosing vinyl. When I contacted the company they sent a replacement without quibbling - excellent.

Good for occasional use, but not for an entire holiday, 30 Aug. 2013

I bought this to keep in the boot of my car for impromptu naps/bed time when out and about with my 6 month old. Travel wise, this lives in the boot and takes up hardly any space- compared to normal travel cots this is definitely an upside. It would easily fit in a suitcase rather than having to go as separate luggage.

Is extremely easy to put up, and I found it just as easy to put away, there are several videos showing how to do this which I was easily able to follow and I was folding like a pro after a couple of practice runs.

The mattress is very easy to inflate and seems quite comfy. As per the other reviews, there is no zip-in sheet, this is attached by Velcro. I've added exam around the sides, as i imagined my very mobile sleeper would rip the sides up right away. A zip in sheet would have upped this to a five star review.

It doesn't seem like the sturdiest of cots, and the first time he used it I watched my baby roll around in it a little scared...
