It came into its own when my newly potty trained son announced he needed to poo on his 2nd birthday just as we'd boarded and left for a boat trip on drayton manor theme park lake! He managed to use it and get cleaned very swiftly and then thanks to us being able to close it the smell was pleasantly a distant memory instantly and I think only the family behind us had any idea what had happened.The downside is that it's so uncomfy compared to my sons potty chair at home that he's reluctant to use it and waits till the last minute rather than hopping on to "try" before he does other activities.Iv taken to carrying dettol wipes everywhere too for disinfecting it after emptying but I guess that's just one of the pitfalls of any potty

Very handy little potty. The only bad point is it's very hard plastic so the first couple of times my daughter sat on it she refused to do anything and said it hurt. Once she got used to it though it worked perfectly for us and our holiday. We went away for a week and my daughter was at the very early stages where if she needed the toilet had to go instantly. This travel potty meant we didn't have any accidents, we just got out the way, used it, closed it up and emptied it in a suitable place later. No leaks while carrying it. Very pleased with it, saved us a lot of changes of clothes etc!

This one is much better than the one we had for child #1, 10 Aug. 2015
2nd child, 2nd potty. This one is much better than the one we had for child #1, as it is a bit deeper, and locks more securely. Trust me, you want a travel potty that locks VERY securely if you're carrying it around or leaving it in the car for long journeys!
