Needs to be used with an eyelash curler & decent cleanser, 31 Jan. 2016

First thing to mention, the mascara I received wasn't factory sealed. I don't know whether this is because it was a free review item, or whether Maybelline have stopped using factory seals. But personally I'm not comfortable paying for unsealed cosmetics.

That aside, this isn't a patch on the L'Oreal equivalents. The Maybelline struggles to shape the lashes, so you do need to use an eyelash curler if you want an open shape rather than just sticking out.

The brush caused clumping and I was left with clumped triangles instead of separate lashes. It's also a pain to touch-up or correct, the moment you touch your lashes the mascara collapses into swathes of black pigment all over the eye area. Fully removing the mascara is easy in the sense that even warm water on loo roll takes it off the lashes, but it falls into piles of smeared pigment on the face that take concerted cleansing to remove.

The black itself is very harsh and more for 'big make-up' than...

Amazing Mascara., 29 Jan. 2016
Wow. This is both a volumising and lengthening mascara that actually does both. Very easy to apply in only one or two coats, it lasts well and stays put.I love the wand, it's a rubbery type with even spaced bristles. It's a fabulous very black black, and really defines the eyes well.I'm really impressed with this. Gorgeous packaging too.

You can't go wrong with a Maybelline mascara; best value for money and excellent product., 31 Jan. 2016
As with all the Maybelline mascaras I have tried, I absolutely love this! It glides on and gives you thick and long lashes in two coats. It doesn't clump and it is very intense black which I love. It comes off easily with eye makeup remover and doesn't rub off without it. To be honest, I wouldn't say it is any more dramatic than the other Maybelline mascaras and think the name 'Push Up' is probably a bit of a gimmick. But that aside, it is excellent and it is every bit as good as, if not much better than the upmarket brands like Dior.I thoroughly recommend this mascara unless you like a light subtle look.
