Refines skin texture, tightens pores, evens and brightens skin tone. In your 20s and 30s, your skin is young but not always perfect. Stress, fatigue and an unbalanced lifestyle can affect skin quality causing irregularities to appear: imperfections, enlarged pores and an uneven skin texture. The L'Oréal laboratories have developed a 3D skin quality index. 3 dimensions which help to measure perfect skin quality: Tone, Texture, Pores. This advanced formula acts on the 3 dimensions to help correct and improve the appearance of skin quality as if perfected. In 1 minute skin feels softer and smoothed to a silky touch. In 1 week pores appear visibly tightened. In 1 month skin looks transformed and skin looks more even with a healthy looking glow. To use: Apply morning and evening alone or before using your skin perfection day moisturiser. Apply a few drops to your fingertips and massage onto your face. Avoid the eye area.

L'Oréal
======
They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.
OK? Let's go..
WHAT IS A FACE SERUM AND HOW DO THEY WORK
=========================================
Face serums are lightweight moisturisers that penetrate deeper to deliver 'active ingredients' into your skin. The most expensive serums aren't always the best, but they do tend to contain higher quality, more concentrated ingredients.
They vary astronomically in price. Some are reasonable BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT rule to follow with serums: don't overuse the product.
More isn't always better. Because...

This is part of the Skin Perfection range by L'Oreal which has really cute, bright, pink packaging that looks cheerful on the dressing table. This serum is packaged in a hygienic pump-action bottle which is my preferred method for serums and means that you can limit wastage. You only need to use a little of this serum each time, so the bottle should last for a long time.
The serum goes on smoothly and sinks in quite quickly, though I use it at night so it doesn't really matter how long it takes to absorb. It's quite rich which is good for those with dry skin, but may be a little much for greasy areas of the face, and I see that others have had problems with increased spots. I plan to limit the use to drier areas and areas where I have trouble with pores, such as my nose, and avoid spot-prone areas. It does seem to be effective on minimising pores and improving skin tone in dry areas, so it's definitely worth a try. If I notice any further improvements I will update the...

The L’Oreal Skin Perfection Range is aimed at the 20’s and 30’s age group and comes cheerfully bottled in pink. This serum is good at tightening pores, brightens skin tone and smooths those early fine lines. I tried this myself and also asked my niece, now in her thirties, to also try this out.
The flowery fragrance of this range is pretty and the cream itself has a soft, pink and almost shimmery glow. I do think this is a nice range for those younger consumers who are just looking to use skincare products and, for whom, the pretty pinks and soft pearl creams might really appeal – looking pretty and feminine on the dressing table.
My niece does still have slightly oily skin at times and she felt this did tighten her pores and make her skin look nicer and I agree. It is a very light cream – easily absorbed and gentle on the skin. It will hydrate your skin and is best used under a moisturiser cream (there is one in the same range) to...
