I've now bought this monitor for myself and 2 family members! It's great! Amazing value for the price. . If you mount the camera on the wall, the screen size is good. Picture quality great for night vision, not as good for daytime when the room is just dim (but usually the room is dark enough for night vision to kick on). LOVE the VOX setting! And ability to adjust screen brightness.ove the baby monitor I like that you can turn music on and off and talk to your baby very useful features.The video display on the receiver is quite clear. Of course it's not as clear as a TV but it is more than adequate for its intended purpose. I can even see her in the dark and the two-way audio is a great feature.

Simplistic Camera at its best!, 5 April 2018

Having owned a previous Motorola model (older model), i decided to get the revised, newer Motorola version (MBP36S) as the older model worked wonders for us. Unfortunately, had to refund it almost as quickly as i received it as the camera can only be described as not fit for purpose (stuttery, delays). Going through reviews and research, i decided to go for the Hello Baby HB24 monitor. And boy what a great camera! Very smooth footage from both day and night with simple controls on the monitor handset. The only gripes i have is that you have to manually move the camera to the desired position (my older Motorola model which still works perfectly fine has the function to move / pan / camera). The other gripe is that the monitor screen itself is a little small. (But the latest Hello Baby monitor model should help compensate for that.) Other than that, a very worthwhile camera to own.

The world of baby monitors is a confusing one with multiple price points and mixed reviews for almost all brands. The only purpose of this review is to help out other parents in a similar situation. We weren't sure which brand/model to go for our son, but decided on Hello Baby on a friend's recommendation. We have had this for 3 months now. It was delivered on time. Was easy to set up and works perfectly in low light conditions too. Battery life is decent too.We haven't had any issues at all. The product does what it says. Though this isn't the cheapest option available, it's not as expensive as some of the other better known brands. Overall, a really good purchase.
