I bought this for my 2 year old daughter who refused to sleep in the car, to keep her entertained on long car journeys (which we seem to do a lot of).
When it arrived it was neatly packaged, and folded down to save space. The instructions included are really helpful, and show you how to get the sides back up, and ready to use. One word of warning, the instructions clearly state not to bend the base of the tray itself, and I would completely agree with it.
The tray itself is great, and she absolutely loves the colour of it (she's a very pink little lady!!).
When used with a car seat, the tray is a really good size, and is just a bit wider than the car seat we have. This means that it can rest on the armrests of the car seat, and allows my daugher to be a little bit more comfortable.

I am delighted with this product! Having a child rear facing is 5 times safer, but when they drop something it's 5 times harder to get it back to them!! This tray prevents this from happening (as much as can be expected, if a toddler wants to throw something away they will regardless!) my son is in a Besafe izi combi x4 seat.
On opening the product I was immediately impressed with the quality. The clear instructions are helpful too, although it's a fairly self explanatory product.
The dinosaurs on the blue version immediately enticed my son. There is a strap for keeping it in place that goes around the child but can be removed if desired and also very clever under leg straps that can alternatively hold it in place that way.
It is not hard so I am not worried about it hurting my son in the case of a collision. Yet it is stiff enough to hold its shape. It is also wipe able to help keep it clean.

I got this tray and my little girl was so happy. I personally thought the design was a bit stereotypical girlie. But my daughter loved it. Pointing out all the different characters on it so it turns out this company had better judgement of my child's desire for all these characters than I did.
I have used it for short journeys. It has helped stop things falling through her legs to the floor. The tray is slightly too wide to sit onto her legs and instead rests on the car seat. The sides of my car seat are high (it's a dualfix by brittax) so I think it would work better with other car seats.
I can still use and and still will use it. My girl likes it and keeps it on her lap. It allows her to play and keep her toys close. She would throw it off and tell me she didn't like it so it definitely gets her seal of approval.
The fact it is cleanable and not damaged by water is definitely a good thing. The build quality is good and I have no doubt that it will last a long...
