Easy and quick. Quicker with this trick, 21 July 2009
The thermometer is extremely simple to use, and fairly quick when used orally (about 20 seconds). However, if you are measuring more than one person (such as myself and my wife) then the second reading is much faster, as the thermometer is already close to body temperature, so settles down much quicker!For both quick and safe measurements, sterilise it in fluid at 37°C between measurements!!!

excellent thermometer, 5 Feb. 2009
I bought it for my daughter who is a vet student. she said it was excellent as it has a 10 second timing on it to read the temperature. This is particularly useful when dealing with difficult dogs! The other vet students are now buying this therometer as the traditional ones have a 30 second timer! I suggest the manufacturer targets the vet scchools!

Agree with the previous reviewer regarding veterinary use. I am a vet and this thermometer is the quickest and most reliable digital thermometer I have used.
