First time using bamboo nappies, I'm one very happy customer!, 24 Sept. 2016

This is my first time using bamboo nappies but I have seen most makes and forms of nappies over the last few years (I'm a childcare provider). I was given the opportunity to try these nappies out at a reduced price in return for a fair and honest review, which in my opinion is just what I am giving.

My first impression is they felt soft and very much like all nappies with the soft cotton feel waist tabs but without that 'plasticy' feel some nappies have. The sizing seemed accurate and the absorbent packing in the nappy seemed smooth and evenly distributed. Apart from the one logo the nappy is very plain.

So far so good, next came the real test... baby wriggle! The Andy Pandys passing this test with flying colours, nothing came loose, nothing slid out and they seem to fit snugly. As for absorbency I would say they are on par with supermarket own brands rather than the top two brands but this was expected as I am looking for a nappy that is not going to harm the environment...

We absolutely love these diapers! We have tried many other brands including Pampers Swaddlers, Huggies Little Snugglers, Earth's Best, Babyganics and Honest Company diapers. Andy Pandy by far are our favorite! Pampers have a plastic feel to them and obviously have A LOT of SAP ( that gel stuff) in them and also have that net-like upper layer. Huggies are a bit softer but just don't fit right around the thighs and leak all the time. Babyganics and Earth's best run a bit small and have a paper feel to them even though they are definitely better for the baby. They just don't stretch. So it seems they are uncomfortable for her. Honest Company diapers are very cute and offer different patterns. They stretch better and are slightly softer than Babyganics and Earth's Best. However, we felt that they still were a bit stiff and paper-like. They also don't have a wetness indicator.

Now, the Andy Pandy diapers are perfect. They are so silky soft both on the outside and inside. The company...

A promising new nappy brand...., 5 Oct. 2016

I’ve been using eco nappies since my eldest son was born 6 years ago, so I’d say I know a few things about them. The brand I used mostly was Beaming Baby, but unfortunately they are very expensive now that Amazon doesn’t offer them on Subscribe & Save and I had to find a more cost-effective solution. I have also tried Nature Babycare, Bambo, Kinder by Nature and Sainsbury’s Eco nappies.

Andy Pandy is a US-based brand that appears to be new to the UK market. Before purchasing, I read through the company website to ensure their nappies are up to my usual high standards and was impressed with the level of detail on their products and their ethical stance.

The large pack contains 70 nappies - as I always like to buy in bulk, this is perfect for me. I don’t think smaller packs are available in this size.

On opening, the first thing I noticed was how soft the nappies are. None of the other brands I’ve tried have felt this...
