I already had a manual baby nasal aspirator, but I admit I don't particularly enjoy using it. Despite the built in filter, I still get grossed out by having to suck the snot out myself. Just thinking about it makes me queasy!
Hence my joy (and surprise; I wasn't aware they made these electrical) when I discovered Little Martin's Drawer Battery Operated Nasal Aspirator. I have bought mine in blue, not that colour really mattered in the first place. And it arrived the following day, thanks to Amazon Prime.
The packaging is really sweet, with soft colours and a cute elephant on the front, and a dolphin and sweetie bird on the back.

When my son was younger he suffered with so many colds and we tried to use the manual aspirators but it wasn't strong enough and took too many attempts to free his nose from congestion. I said then that there should be a version out there that is electronic and just sucks the blockage out. So when I saw this it was like a eureka moment. Finally someone had done what I wanted. Now we have another little munchkin, it has come in very handy with little sniffles and colds. It has 2 size silicone heads on it, you choose the head, press the button and it takes a second to free their little noses from congestion.
I would suggest that you start the machine up before you put it in your little ones nose because it is a noisy little thing. That is the 1 and only reason I have docked it a star. This is a great product. Delivery was fast and the item arrived when expected. Communication with the seller was also impressive, with a quick and helpful response. On opening the package, I found a well made item, with two different sized nozzles and replacement 'O' rings. The product is nicely packaged and the options of stickers were a nice touch. Following the instructions, I cleaned the item before using it (watch out for the water spray!) and reassembled it. I would definitely recommend reading the instructions carefully, as it was a bit difficult to work out how to remove the transparent part for cleaning (pinch and pull from the top down).
Once dried and reassembled, I tested the item on myself. A bit gross, I know, but I didn't want to risk hurting my child with too much pressure. I was surprised by how little I felt but how effective it was. The only sensation was of the silicone nozzle in my nose, there was no feeling of suction or pressure, which was...
